Doug Weathersby Environmental Services LLC: Chopped
October 3 - 31, 2026
Gallery VERY is pleased to present Doug Weathersby Environmental Services LLC: Chopped, on view October 3–31, 2026.
For more than two decades, conceptual artist Doug Weathersby has worked under the name Environmental Services, bringing his everyday labor and art together. Chopped, which grew out of Doug’s recent project sanding and refinishing the floor at Gallery VERY, includes logbooks, video, installation, and sculpture. His logs move freely between the work at hand and everything that surrounds it: meals, errands, mistakes, observations, plans, and the ordinary events of the day. The result is remarkably personal, a record not only of work, but of human experience.
